The Bosco Claudio Abbado is coming to life!
Mario Brunello’s interest and serious commitment to the links between nature and music partner well with Stefano Mancuso’s humanistic-scientific vocation.  Both have promoted and featured in events aimed to raise awareness of these issues, and here they are, working together more closely than ever, discussing this fresh initiative on 26 June in Milan and discussing how music and nature blend well in Stresa Festival’s new project.

Stefano Mancuso, a ‘founder’ of plant neurobiology and enthusiastic communicator, is listed by the New Yorker among people who are ‘destined to change life’.
A scientist and informer, Mancuso is a world authority, studying and spreading the new truth about plants – intelligent and sensitive creatures capable of selecting, learning and remembering.

A professor at the University of Florence and member of the Italian Accademia dei Georgofili, he runs the International Laboratory of Plant Neurobiology, with bases in Florence, Kitakyushu, Bonn and Paris. In 2022 he was assigned the Fiorino d’Oro, the highest award of the City of Florence, and was nominated scientific director of the  newly established Foundation for the Future of the City..
