The program Dal Rinascimento al Jazz [from the Renaissance to jazz] is a journey through the history of music from the 17th century up to our times.On the notes of some of the best-known musicians, the Billi Brass Quintet  proposes a rich and varied program spanning from Monteverdi to Duke Ellington, visiting opera, sound tracks, light and popular music, jazz, rock – and not forgetting South American dances and Balkan folk music.  From Renaissance to Jazz boasts an eclectic types of music, includes numerous contemporary compositions.
The Billi Brass Quintet dates from a meeting in 2012 of five young musicians who are also seriously engaged today with important Italian symphonic ensembles. They came first in the 8th International Competition for Young Musicians, Città di Treviso, in the section “Musica Contemporanea”, in 2016.
